南宁八中始建于1958年11月，位于中国广西壮族自治区首府“绿城”南宁市。学校分高初中两个校区，高中占地145亩，初中占地33亩，现有72个教学班级，近4000名学生。学校拥有实验楼、微机室、语音室、理化生实验室、电子阅览室、学生宿舍楼、食堂等配备完善的教学设施，每间教室都配备了直通互联网的多媒体电脑。

Introduction of the No8 High School in Nanning
No.8 High School was set up in November 1958, and is located in the capital city of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Nanning, which is well known as “the green city of China”. Our school has 72 classes of approximately 4,000 students. We have laboratory buildings, computer rooms, language labs, libraries, electronic reading-rooms, dormitory buildings, cafeterias and so on. Each classroom is equipped with a multimedia computer which has access to the internet.
We have a history of 60 years and a high reputation in society. Our school has a strong professional teaching team. All the teachers of our school are experienced and professional, and have made outstanding educational achievements. We have been making every effort to prepare our students for further studies and future life. The school motto is “Unite, Struggle, and we will make great advances.”. Both teachers and students are working hard to reach their goals. Quantities of our former graduates have become excellent representatives in different fields, such as in government, business, education, medicine, sports, art, army, science and technology.
Our school offers a diverse educational programs to meet the needs of all the students. The required courses are Chinese, Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Social studies, Geography, History, Information Technology, Physical Education, Music and Art. Since 2015, we school have made great breakthroughs in the College Entrance Examination. Especially, the number of the students who are admitted to the key universities has been increasing year by year.
